The neighborhood was developed by David Weekly Homes between 1998 and 2000. The Enclave at White Rock Lake is a very popular neighborhood for homeowners who love the East Dallas lifestyle and also prefer the setting and amenities of a private, gated community of homes that are relatively newer compared to most neighborhoods in the area. The neighborhood is within walking and biking distance to White Rock Lake and is also close to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens and many other East Dallas recreational, shopping and entertainment attractions.

The area is southwest of Highland Road and the Forest Hills neighborhood. The Enclave at White Rock is easily identifiable because the name of the neighborhood is displayed at the gated entrances to the community.

The Enclave at White Rock Neighborhood
The Enclave at White Rock is one of the only private, gated communities consisting of newer homes that exist in the White Rock Lake area of East Dallas.
The neighborhood has a private lake with fountains, its own jogging / walking trails and plenty of grassy areas for residents to enjoy walking their pets or other forms of outdoor fun.

All homes in the Enclave at White Rock were built by award-winning home builder David Weekly Homes. Home styles vary throughout the neighborhood, with some unique traditional and tudor revival-style homes. Most homes have mainly brick exteriors but a few are mixed with variations of stone and siding, depending on the style and were built on slab foundations.
The lot sizes range between small tracts of just over .10 acres to around .25 acres depending on where they are located in the neighborhood. Some of the homes are considered zero-lot homes. Homes in the neighborhood were built between 1998 and 2000.
The predominant home floor plan in the neighborhood is three bedroom and four bedroom homes with between two and three full bathrooms, many of which also have a half-bathroom. There are a few five bedroom homes in the neighborhood as well. There is also a mix of one and two story homes. Home sizes range from just under 2,000 square feet to over 3,500 square feet. All homes have at least a two car garage and a few homes in the neighborhood also have swimming pools.

Enclave at White Rock Home Owner’s Association
The Enclave at White Rock has a mandatory home owners association that requires owners to pay quarterly dues. Membership in the HOA and payment of fees allows owners use of neighborhood amenities, such as the gated entrance and perimeter fence and use of the park, private lake and jogging trails in the neighborhood.

- Lakewood Village shopping center is just a short drive down Gaston Road. The Lakewood area features an abundance of restaurants, bars and specialty stores, including Whole Foods.
